We do this so often it's second nature but realized I never shared. In a pinch I can adjust a color by activator load rather than new formula. Today we turned mint into pistacio by dropping activator to 2%. Did this ahead of time as the swatch book showed us the original color which would'nt match. Saves us from having to make hundreds of formulas

good tip! ive found myself adjusting activator pecentages also lately after reading your posts about it. ive always known reds needed lower percents but didnt realize the range you could get by adjusting them as far as you seemed to be, but it works good with other colors as well. Thanks.
