What do you use to find 'em?
Holding the screens up to the light is getting heavy. I'm thinking of looking for a drafting type light table. Would that work? Something better?
TIA

I use a light table. The one I had was too bright so I had to add some paper to dull it down. Makes it much easier to find the pinholes when the light is duller.

I've always found it easiest to use a single fluorescent bulb; diffusing the light source diffuses the smaller pinholes too, making them perhaps easier to miss, until they're on press of course. Window light, southern exposure too, but you said you're getting tired of holding them up. For years I had a light table with a diffused top for touching up films, and one open end so I could touch up screens to exposed bulbs.

Well, I've got the opportunity to pick one up at a reasonable price and was checking the actual usability for screenprinting purposes. Tks

The reason for this is that, when using a light table, the light source is too close to the substrate and the light is diffused; which will result in missing many pinholes. That is why wou'll see press ops and screen guys holding the screens up to a distant light source. I once had a special light box made to replicate this using a very distant light source.

Well, that is a bit unfortunate. I had run across one and posted here without a lot of time to wait for many replies. I guess if it don't work out, I'll just turn around and sell it. It a solid Nuarc with 2 bulbs and has a little rust, but was only $90. We'll see how it goes.
