Title: Cap Heat Press.....
Post by: Denis Kolar on March 13, 2013, 02:24:35 PM
..... is that a piece of equipment that I should have in my shop?

I have few ideas that I could do with it for my retail thing I do on side, but I do not want to buy it only for that purpose. I was wandering if that will be a piece that I will use at least 3-4 times a year.

Thanks

i use mine for probably 6 times a year or so for hats. I have a vinyl cutter that i cut vinyl for hats then apply them with the hat press. I don't have equipment to screen print hats so i use that method works good.

Look for a used Hotronix, I got mine for $250, about a third of what they list for. I use it for hats, US Flag transfers on sleeves, inside private labels. It's very easy to program, and very easy to lock down and lift up after the timer goes off. Just a thought.

We use them almost daily to print inside neck labels for tees.

We do arount 1,000 kids bucket hats for Child Care Centres every week and they are useful for sleeve prints and last week we printed plastisol transfers on 1,000 USB holders that the supplier said could not be done. All in all one of our most useful pieces of equipment.
