.. your micro brew customer comes to pick up an order and brings 2 ice cold growlers of IPA on a friday afternoon....
Happy Friday and have a relaxing weekend everybody!
Oh .... it is a 2 color discharge on AA tee

Yeah that's the worst! If you give me beer you basically have my loyalty, smart move.
-
Now that's a beer. What is that half gallon?

You never filled a growler? It's 4 pints. And, considering the abv of most micro IPAs that's a lotta buzz right there.
The one we're printing for brings me cases and sixers from time to time (most can here since many beers are drank on the river), it's a real sweet thing to do for a printshop.

No. This is the first time I have seen one or heard the name growler. Do all micro brews have them?

I did a rush order favor for a local brewery right before Oktoberfest. Not only did they pay for the shirts, they brought an assortment of their brews and even some root beer. I think it was 8 cases. (Millstream Brewery)

i am trying to work my way into a local brewery, they are using an out of state company now, and I'm thinking "seriously, you are pushing yourself as a local brewer, act like a local buyer then too."

Nothing is better that Root Beer made my a brewery.....Well I guess beer does....lol....

Growlers are awesome--fill, drink, rinse, repeat. ;D
They seem to be more popular with micros and brewpubs than the big guys, although New Belgium still fills growlers.
Sweet for homebrewing too--perfect size for step-culturing a batch of yeast for five gallons.

there used to be a place that brewed their own root beer. Holy cow it was fantastic.

I saw someones saying on the bottom of a post, it could have been here, I don't remember, sucks getting old.
Beer is like porn, you can buy it but it is a lot more fun making it yourself. something along those lines.

Never heard of a growler either. But that could be because in our state they have regulations on how much beer can be served to you in one round, 4 pts is probably way past the limit.
-
they usually do them to go, its fairly new down here with the allowance of higher gravity beers. Who wants a growler of Miller Lite?

Thanks for inviting me over. I did get concert tickets once.

That sounds sweeeet. I love honey beers.
Last bottling run was a 6.5% IPA, classic, over a half pound of low AA hops. ;D
Still haven't done a proper mead yet though.
-
the last mead I did, I used champagne yeast. Bubbly mead! Awesome! Sorry for the hijack, couldn't resist

I have a HUGE growler collection! I'm a huge micro/craft brew fan and living in Colorado that's not hard. ;)
Once I get my own stuff up and running the local breweries will be hearing from me, I would love to print for them and all the beer fests that go on around here, it could be a fun market to be in!

I had mead 1 time a long time ago. It was really bad. I never tried again. Maybe it is time. I hear CO is the Napa Valley of beer. My wife and I have considered looking at some property there. I am just afraid that a wimp from Fl couldn't make the winters...and I would miss my ocean. There is nothing like the Atlantic.

Been biting my tongue since this post started. Sounds like a sample was brought to the printer representing the job at hand. when I read this, I was in the middle of a job for a cheer leader team. I gotta stop now. Cheers!
