I'm almost positive they do, but i can't think of what it would be called.
Two little hooks would fit inside of a squeegee clamp, like the old m&r ones, and you'd crank it to spread it wider, thus making it easier to put squeegee material in.
is there something out there like this? I'm assuming it'd be something i could find in automotive store possibly

heavy duty piston ring pliers....but those jaws are really, really hard to open. you need more of a wedge, like a "V" piece of wood and jam that mother in there...that is one of the reasons we want to sharpen instead of replace haha....

Try snap ring pliers. Not sure if this us what your referencing though.
