any union supplier can sell you a triple strength kit. It comes in quarts and is significantly cheaper than buying them individually.

Funny--didn't know that.  Midwest tried to sell us on it years ago, and then didn't have it in stock.  We got ours from AST.

I've had that happen a lot lately.  I get a supplier hounding me to try their stuff and then next thing you know I'm having to buy a much larger quantity than originally talked about or different product than I had originally wanted.  I don't mind trying things that a supplier has recommended except that there are a lot of suppliers out there that don't know near as much as many of us do about products they are selling and it's a bad experience.

Actually, this was even better, wanted a set of quarts, I want to say they had a single five gallon of magenta.    That's gonna help...   ::)
Not to give them too much crap, our suppliers have their suppliers and so on, but it's kinda silly when several other people have stock but not the people pushing it.

I hear you though, it's difficult for me to talk to some of the reps when they figure I'm in a small shop, they can BS me.  Not to say they never get away with it.   ;D
The worst offenders to me are the ones who say "I don't know" to a question, and aren't willing to learn the answer.  If you don't want to know the product, you don't want to sell it, as far as I'm concerned.

generally, suppliers do not have the kits in stock. They are shipped from Union directly. I have bought several and they always came directly from the manufacturer.
