Hmm...
-
Nice :)
-
The print looks good
-
This just gives the wearer a chance to read the shirt he's wearing. It's the Next Big Thing!
-
Bet the price just quadrupled.
-
Seriously, how the hell did that happen? That rates pretty high on the dumb things list. Fortunately, the shirt looks like it will cheap to replace :P

easy fix cut the back panel out and resew it back in.
-
Made in China.
Must be transfers..I don't know how you'd load it like that.
-
Really?
I must be missing something. I just ass/u/med they registered all the screens upside down. But what do I know?
I take that back. I agree it's probably a transfer.

you know what happened here . . .
the person pressing it looked at what they did and said "F it, nobody is going to notice until it's too late!" So they just hid it in the box with others and sent it out. By the time it gets to US from China, who's gonna figure out who's responsible?

Best guess how this happened:
Image was printed as part of a panel program,
Somebody not paying attention laid printed panel on pile facing wrong direction
Sewer was on piece rate, not paid to think
Garments are sewn from the inside so print not visible to sew operator when pulled from inverted pile.
After sewing complete, another operator on piece rate inverted garment, again not paid to think.
Inspector #271, this one paid to at least look, missed it.
Garment probably went to retail packaging line and had barcode, hangtags, labels sewn in, again no thinking required and only looking at neck opening area of garment.
Garment boxed in bulk packaging to be sent to Mass Market DC.
Garment picked from DC to retail outlet
Garment received at retail outlet and merchandised.
Customer finally picks up garment off retail display and wonders.....How could this happen?
Happens all the time! ;) Did I mentioned not being paid to think! ;D

that's better than the beating they would get for screwing up.
-
I didn't know American Apparel was doing licensed NFL jerseys.
-
Yeah somebody f'd up.
I just thought it was kinda funny, as right before I saw this, I was worrying about much finer details.
hahaha.
