I bought this with my machine and it has no name or numbers on it. The second piece (not shown) goes on the glass of the exposure unit and this I presume (notice I did not say ASSUME) goes on the platen, but I cannot make heads or tails of it..... Anybody?? I cannot attach the photos...... anyone advise on the uploads??

I can send the pics in and email, but this site will not let me upload them?? Any help with that would be appreciated.

How have you tried to "upload" images?
You can link to a url, with the icon above,
or add as an attachment with the drop down below.(as I did)
-
Frog, thanks but the attachment and other options is just not working,,,,,,it is timing out and giving me and error message to talk to the administrator.
-
how big are your attachments? there is a size limit . . .

For some reasond, I can not upload anything that has a smaller side of the picture bigger than a 900 pixels.
900x1600 pic is ok to upload, but 910x1200 is not (I made up the numbers for comparison)

Pneumatic remake of a medieval torture device?
:P
( sorry, don't know )
-
Wow, that's impressive if it's a screen registration device. Looks more like it's for registering the carousel but having never seen one before I can only speculate.
-
Alan Nailed it. Don't know which manufacturer could be generic. Used for getting the table registration bearings synced.
-
I am doubting Alan (sorry) because it has a device that hooks to 1 platen on the javelin and there are 2 blocks for the side of the screen and 1 block that is for the top of the screen, so three blocks w/ dial indicators for placement of the screen. The second part looks like the triloc but with knuckles that are spring loaded to hold three parts of the screen frame.
-
I think in that case it's for leveling your press, platens.
-
It is a X-Y registration device that was attached to a vacuum table/pin table used primarily in the
printed circuit / printed nameplate industry circa early 1980's. The USA was the king in printed circuit production,
followed by Japan! The good ole days, when both countries still had money.
-
sell it on ebay and call it "steampunk statue art sculpture mantle piece" as the title lol $500.
-
Its called ZT "Zero Tolerance"
It was a pre-reg device project developed by Tuf Products that was starting and then abandoned before they sold off the company to Workhorse.
-
Does it work??
-
The dial on the left shows the time you came from. The dial in the center shows the present time. The dial on the right shows the destination time. You put it in a Delorean connected to a Flux Capacitor and you can travel through time!
-
lol X 10!
It's already glowing in the middle...

I think the best thing they did with this contraption was abandoned!!!!
