Title: Ok whats going on here... Hopkins BWM
Post by: Prosperi-Tees on May 01, 2013, 01:03:13 AM
My carousel started getting tough to spin so I checked to see if it was level to the floor and it was way off. I leveled the feet and now it is making a popping noise when I spin the table and this little bad boy is popping in and out causing the noise. I tried going back to unlevel and it is still popping and it does it either spinning left or right.

It may be that is the locating assembly for the pallet carousel. If you remove the end cap by unthreading it, you'll probably find a compression spring. In front of that will be the piece that the spring pushes into the locating features on the center shaft. I say, remove the end cap and spring and look inside.

Like said above but you need to add grease to the plunger when it goes back together then adjust it so you feel the detent when when rotating
