Enjoy... simple fast and as accurate as you want to be.. The tone curve gives you absolute authority over pixels in CorelDRAW.

how do you choose where to put a node in the tone curve? it seems random, is there a method?

I agree it's not deliberate at all.. preview, preview, preview :o
This does not give any assurance that it will print satisfactorily.

There was another grayscale sep vid posted by another member where he chose three grays, but used color range and levels.
In that vid he also used his tools to taste but- he explained it as applied to screen printing. So because he explained why and what
he was trying to accomplish for each color screen and design as a whole, it was deliberate.

I'm still starting to like Corel for seps. It just seems more efficient.
So I actually went off looking for more advanced info on Corel's tone curve tool (specifically the straight curve option)

Sigh- Unlike PhotoShop, the community support for Corel is lacking so you're always a few steps behind and wasting time
instead of deciding which procedure to go with for accomplishing a specific task.

Or perhaps I need to do another more detailed video.
