What's funny to me is that forty years ago, my first industry job was a flat stock shop, and for whatever reason, a common razz was the threat to put peanut shells in the ink! (Shredding a six foot actual silk screen was no small deal either!)

Yep, 1972, fresh out of some art classes (including "silk screening" water based inks from Inko on yardage) at Merritt Community College in Oakland.
The start of an on-again-off-again affair with screen printing. (Been on again now since '87)
