What is up with Nazdar getting so damn expensive? Just ordered two gallons of emulsion absolutely must have tomorrow and was shocked at how high the QTX and QLT rose. Checked it against Tech support and they have Nazdar beat by over $20 a gallon. If I didn't need tomorrow I would have ordered from Tech.
No bash on Nazdar just want them to know they are getting seriously expensive on a lot of products, also wondering if their is still a coupon code available from this site or did that expire?

no TSB Coupon is available. There are monthly specials they advertise in the banner.
I have found Nazdar to be on the expensive side, but that is because our monthly volume with them is only few hundred bucks. We were assured that the prices will get better with the volume. I have no issues with that. It is like the guy promising to print 1,000 shirts when he gets BIG, but we should print the 3 samples at the same price first! Discount should be based on actual rather than projected volume.
Also worth mentioning is the service they provide which is definitely worth a little bit of a premium.

I stopped using Ulano product's years ago QTX jumped slam thru the roof, so I'm using image mate emuslion, works just as good and a whole lot cheaper, I buy from valley litho, Homer turned me on tho them a year or so back.

if price is all that's important, go find the cheapest emulsion out there. If your printing plastisol, I guarantee it will work. You might have to expose it for god knows how long. But I have found that they ALL work, just how much time are you willing to spend to save a few bucks. Sure Peter will jump all over this thread soon.

I've ordered from Tech Support and the invoice that came in after delivery was higher than the pricing that showed online at purchase. Never called to check as I was insanely busy. Scared me away from buying again.

I have come across a few cheap emulsions in my time and they performed terribly, so I cannot agree that any emulsion will work for plastisol, that's unless you don't mind poor bridging, hard reclaiming, and sticky emulsion that ruins all your films no matter the humidity level.
Pricing is not a huge concern except for when the emulsion you used to love and always use now cost well over $100!

Mike: I’m sorry that your experience with Nazdar SourceOne didn’t fully meet your expectations. From your post it sounds like we met your service expectations of having the product in stock and ready for shipment when needed, however Nazdar SourceOne pricing was higher than a competitive distributor. I assume that the price that you were quoted was Manufacture Suggested Retail Price (MSRP or List Price).
As others have stated Nazdar SourceOne does provide discounts to customers based on their overall purchase volumes. In the event that no discussion has occurred then Manufacturer List price is the “Default” price that is offered. Additionally we often have a range of product solutions and are able to recommend a more cost effective alternative.
With that said I do wish that we had been more competitive to market pricing on the emulsions that you purchased. I'd like to have one of our Inside Sales people contact you directly to review the core products that you purchase, and to set up appropriate pricing on those items for you. Please drop me a PM or email with your contact information and the best time to reach you.
