Title: Epson 3000 ?

Just done some seps ( Epson 3000) and I'm getting some really funky banding going on, anyone get this on their epsons and whats the fix  head cleaning or is my print head going bad?

Nozzle check, what's missing? Clean, check, clean check, clean check.
If that doesn't work you can soak the park pad with windex and leave
the head on it over night. If that doesn't work then it's a possibility that
the head is dying. Usually though, they go one nozzle at a time, so if you have more
than one nozzle missing it's likely just a clog. Newly hot weather will do this
to printers.


We recently retired a 9000 that was finally going. One nozzle would not clear
no matter what we did. It's a sad day, but these things happen.

I would just contact the inkjet doctor. www.theinkjetdoctor.com (http://www.theinkjetdoctor.com) and he sells the black print heads. He has some on ebay now for $149. I recently gutted my 3000 took all the color heads out, and removed the ink supply lines.

I spoke with David Parker (AKA Sigmo) he gave me some tips cuz he about a week out on printers, and I need one now, so I'll work on it this weekend.

David is a great guy! From what I can tell, the inkjet dr just ripped him off! not a big fan of the smear tactics and IP theft. . .
