There are so many jokes wrapped up in that.

Seems odd that it only made news in Canada. Oh, right, you guys still have reading and comprehension skills. ;D

I am still waiting to get paid.

All political campaigns regardless of party, cannot pick up their shirts until there's CASH IN HAND. I'm no Romney fan, but I'm glad the unsold shirts went to charity instead of the dumpster.

The sad part is that had they sent the cash that is cost them to ship the shirts over there, the cash could have gone a lot father....Yes they need cloths but medicine, food and clean water are higher on the list....

Obama could've taken them aboard Air Force One on his vacation there last month . . . :-P

the sad thing is we have record poverty here and an unacceptable unemployment number and we still send tons of cash and aid to countries that don't like us(not saying Kenya doesn't like us)
Shipping clothing over there is fine, I am sure they have containers of stuff going over there frequently so I doubt it cost much to send the stuff over there. The shipping companies probably charge for most of the shipment and then write off the whole thing.

I just thought it was more of a petulant child kind of thing. "Well, you people in the US didn't like me enough, so you don't get my cheap shirts."
Agree 100% with Royce--I bet they would have traded every shirt and hat they got for a few decent water filters without a second thought. Wait, what am I saying, ONE decent water filter.
