Title: DTG Ink Source for Brother 541

Has anyone ordered ink for the Brother GT541 from Source One? I'm not too happy ordering from Brother and am looking for another source. Not sure if the Source One ink is genuine brother or after market?

yes, source one is a brother vendor.  There are usually local vendors as well.  Where are you located?

NE Ohio but Brother pulled the dealerships from everyone local and I thought made is so we can only buy from the PAS store. I just had sort of a go-around with them about shipping charges. They advertise free ship on all orders over $100, and have never charged shipping over $100, but now they are excluding inks. Makes me mad so I'm looking around. We used to have a salesman who delivered our ink and then bought from Direct To Shirt. Brother pulled out of all independent dealers around here, and I thought everywhere.

Nope, I still buy my ink from Sewingmachine.com, but they can only sell locally.  They switched around their distributors a while back, Nazdar/SourceOne is one.

So, what about the Sawgrass inks? Advertised as better washfastness and lower price? We just picked up a used GT-541 and it's running them, but that's all I know having not run Brother inks...

Actually, it's the same price if you buy the larger carts from Brother.  I always buy the 500cc carts instead of the 220.

I'd rather run the original ink rather than aftermarket in a $20k printer, even if it's out of warranty.
