Title: anybody looking for a large exposure unit? looks like a pretty good deal!
Post by: blue moon on July 21, 2013, 02:58:48 PM
These guys are selling a large exposure unit and two MHM FPU's. Everything is skidded and there are plenty of extras. Just the spare (brand new) vacuum blanket is worth more than what the unit is selling for right now.

I am interested in the FPU. Nothing is wrong with ours, I just want another one. Anybody close by that can help with shipping, or somebody interested in splitting the lot, please let me know!

Only one bid?  Crazy.

That listing is way cooler than the one I saw this weekend.   ;D

Wow, is that cheap. We couldn't give away a Polycop a couple of years ago. $300 for a 5K lamp though is dirt. That's about the price of 2 bulbs...

I'll pitch on the blanket and the spare pump!  That's our exact vac frame.  Don't need the rest though.  If anyone wants to bid on it I'll pay for those two items, pm or email me.

It could be that the buyer wouldn't mind someone purchasing it at bid price but declining to ship/take some of the items, they could just relist.

I wouldn't mind a backup FPU either, though one of them is missing one pin bar.
I'd imagine getting one from Hirsch would be nearly impossible.

Alright, well let's do this, only a few hours left and some stuck a bid on it.  I don't see why the seller would care that we bid, won and only want the backup blanket, pump and the two FPUs.

I am worried about shipping the FPU the way it sits on the skid, and think that shipping cost now does not make it as good of a deal.

My thinking is somebody picks it up and boxes up the FPU and I pay them $250. That makes the rest of the stuff dirt cheap!
