Title: I need to buy some gold foil. Which brands would you recommend?

I made some previous posts ealier in the week about my first foil job i will be attempting...the posts can no longer be accessed because i ruined them by trying to load an image of the design...but before i ruined them i noticed there were some recommendations of what brand foil to use and where to get it. Sadly i can not recall the brand and names suggested.

Can you guys and girls please throw some trusted brand names my way and where to buy it? Either straight up gold...or a gold with metallic in it...or glitter maybe...i need some to make samples so maybe if i made samples with all different themes of gold would be a cool idea.

We use Crown and Stahls.

Crown.

A lot of places just re-label it.

Plus you get to deal with their delightful New Jersey accents.

i think their rolls are 24" wide and you could ask them to cut them down - in the past we asked for 8" wide as it was a lot of prints, and it calculated to less waste and faster cutting the foil to size.

Yeah, they'll cut their 24" rolls down free.

And they send the coolest Christmas cards every year.

And their color chart is bedazzling. I'm trying to invent jobs
to use the US flag foil on.

Crown here, too!

Amagic is supposedly closing in on Crown and some big boys like it better. I think I have some samples here, but never got around to testing them. . .

Did you order some yet?  I am not sure what brand I have but I have two brand new rolls of gold and 2 rolls of silver at my shop I would sell ya cheap!  I will look tomorrow morning and see what brand they are.

thanks everyone...i ordered some crown...all i needed was a sample but they did not have any...i bought two screens also and figured i could get get a sample of gold foil but they were out..i had to buy a whole role...oh well..it is what it is.
