Many of us are aware and frustrated with the white chunk issue with CCI's Mixing White.
Has anyone found a solution? My rep seems to be at a loss besides bringing us more and more replacement bottles. We've tried using 50/50 DBase/DWhite in place but mixing colors is a challenge. Anyone have input or a solution?

Add emulsifier to mix.

I've had some success mixing the pigment with a bit of water before adding it to the base.

Try a blade type homogenizer and let me know how it works because I'm thinking
of getting one.
We currently filter most of our mixes, though white tends to not pose a problem.

Simple.....don't use it. I'm assuming this is a PC. Can't give too many specifics but most ink companys formulas are flawed. There are work arounds that are amazingly simple but some things are best discovered on your own.

Rutland tech told me that all of their WB formulas are just converted from their plastisol,
and recommended that the white typically be left out. Not that you needed validation or anything Tony.

It hasn't been horrible for us but def is the only problem pigment in the set. I think they might just need to tweak their formula for the white pig. I'm guessing there is something that would prevent it clumping up so bad.
We spritz the cap with water, wipe clean after each use and keep it shook up. Also try rinsing out the spout cap. Last off, pour gallons out into quarts or pints when they get a third or half of the way down, less air in there to contribute to drying.
I do like Tony and add white and black last, when it's actually needed. I often just use the d white.

I followed Tony's lead and stopped using it. When mixing white is necessary, I've found a mix of DWhite and Dbase works well.

Man wish I would have read this earlier. Had a 4 & a 3 color WB job and the colors that needed white mixing base had clumps that would appear after running a few shirts. Mixed the heck out of those colors too. You can't see them until it's too late.

the fix is, do not use the mixing white, why they even put that in their formula I'll never know. Use d-white in it's place, activated or not, just do about 8% more that they straight white pigment. Thats how we do it, never have a problem.

I had some success adding the discharge base cutting it by almost half.

Replace it with D-white is what we do also.
