Looking at auto presses that have side rails for loading screens through the front. Where my Gauntlet is located now heads 3 and 4 are close to the wall. The screen will never be able to slide in the front on those heads. Usaully on those heads on the Gauntlet i wll slide the screen from the side, lay the screen on the platten and bring up from the bottom and it slides right in. Can this be done with a press (Diamondback) that has side rails. The new press is going to be in the exact location as the old press and basically has the same foot print.

Yes. You can spin the table a little and load the screen from the under the head by tilting it up into position. Also the Anatol has a tilt side rail. See if you can get this feature on your Diamondback.

Like Sonny said, on our DB, we either remove a pallet for extra room, or just put the pallets in half index position, tilt the frame on it's side, having the right side screen clamp unlocked and move all the way to the out position, you can slide your frame up, tilt it level, then slide your right side clamp back into place and lock it down. On the DB, especially when change over for jobs is going on and some heads might be using the same colors and you want to leave the squeegee and flood bars in place, this makes it the fastest way. We've tried the pull the screen to the front position with a squeegee and flood bard in place but it won't drop out, maybe newer models are different with a notch like some other side clamp presses, but for us the tilt in method works fastest.
