Title: corel will not import PDF files
Post by: mooseman on September 23, 2013, 07:35:14 AM
My darn corel 12 or computer, or tooth fairy will not let me import just about any PDF file I get via e-mail.
I either get file is corrupt or the more common INTERNAL FILTER ERROR. I have been through Corel help topics on internal filter  and get ZIP

can anyone suggest a fix this is really getting me pi$$ed off >:(

Did he just open a file for you or offer some insight into the problem?

I certainly don't always get a totally accurate version of a pdf in my CorelDRAW X6, (when checked against Reader)

Last week, I had a file sent in jpg, and pdf.
It was a paint roller with a swath of paint blending from navy blue to green to red.

In Reader, the pdf looked fine.
In CorelDRAW, only the Navy was visible.

Fortuanety, it was a digital job, so the jpg was sufficient, but, as I said, some of these pdf's created in Illy, do not open properly in CorelDRAW. I assume that it was a layer issue.

I'm glad for the Moose man  that X6 and Homer were able to help on this one.
