Looks like its not what it initially sounded to be. Seems the police were chasing a woman and they ended up near the capitol and exchanged gun fire. Sadly there was a child in the car.

Just noticed on the news her infinit has connecticut plates I wonder where she was from, we are a small state so it always interests me to see where these nut jobs are from.
