Title: Anyone in DC?

I am going to visit with the family in December. I am checking out hotels. I just want to check if the areas I'm thinking of are safe.

I will have to ask the wife to be sure. I know we looked at marriot in bethesda and The courtyard at 13th and 2nd. That one is really close to the metro. From what I can gather. We can park the car and take the metro everywhere. I will be with my wife and 4 kids that are 5, 7, and 2 8 year olds. I want to be safe more than anything. We will be there from the 20th - 28th (i think). If you are up for a tour or a drink I would love to meet someone else from the board.
