My question is will it hold up to the pressure and sometimes bending action that can occur in a wallet that lives in your rear pocket?

I speak from the experience of eventually breaking the Swiss Army Card Knife I was given. (I am also heavier than many at 225).

This thing, with its internal electronics, I wonder...

On the other hand, I have first hand experience to know fat wallets in rear pockets can present a real problem, including a temporarily debilitating numbness in
the leg.
A few weeks back, I totally lost all feeling in my right leg while exiting a freeway and it was quite "exciting" for a minute or so.

I have a pretty fat wallet with no money in it but recently have had the feeling in the toes 2 and 3 next to my big one lose feeling in the tip of them. I wonder if thats why. But the numb feeling does not go away.

Haven't checked it out, but was just sent this link by my wife (who I'm morning texting while she's away for a few days)

Okay, I took a look. a little less "user" control, in fact, a lot less! But still perhaps worth further examination if it allows some user settings for preferences, bonus points notwithstanding.

That Wallaby is pretty cool too.  Only downside is you don't get to pick your card based on the situation.

So like I'd have to have a business card(s) and a personal one from them.

For me, with the two businesses, this Coin seems to be a pretty slick way to go.  Pick which business I'm buying stuff for at the counter.  Obviously Wallaby isn't for guys like me... but it's pretty slick for it's purpose.

Now THAT is an idea!

Take advantage of the points gimmick of Wallaby without losing the freedom of Coin!

two wallaby cards in a coin!!!

pierre

Mind Inceptioned

I'm looking into both of these...

btw I already use a minimalist wallet 9 cards + cash in it, almost as thin as my smartphone, both go in the same pocket

this would turn 5 of them into 1

$55 shipped for the Coin but doesn't ship until summer 2014... I wonder  how long pre order lasts for the 50% off.

I wondered the same thing... but figured for $55 bucks I can handle just forgetting about it till it comes in.

I've lost more money than that out of my pockets (multiple times :( )!

Maybe as long as it takes for them to collect enough 'pre-pays" to pay for the first order to be manufactured.

It's then tossed after two years a s well, right? (or maybe updated via software)
