I had to move a press over the weekend, and I'm wiring it back up now, but i forgot to label the wires coming into the press.
I have 4 wires, ground, white, black, and red. I know where the ground connects too. And i've figured out that i have my leads backwards, as the motor was spinning backwards, but i want to make sure that i haven't fouled it all up by putting the 220 lead in the wrong spot! Does it matter (aside from the leads causing the motor to go backwards), where the 220 lead goes?

take a picture of your leads and how what they connect to the press this will help determine the correct wiring. the red and black are your hot leads. the ground has the green screw and the white neutral has a silver screw most times.
