I am moving back to Northern California (Chico, Ca to be exact) I am looking for a Press Operator job in Chico, or the surrounding area. If anyone knows of anything please contact me soon, as I will be there by the end of January.

Shop Manager/Coordinator
1 year Manager/Coordinator
Duties:
Press Operator & Crew Leader
Pre-Press:
•   Artwork
o   Design, Recreate, Adjust, and/or Prepare
o   Color Separations & Clean-up
o   Print & Adjust Films
o   Tri-loc Films
•   Screen Prep
o   Degreasing
o   Emulsion Coating
o   Burning Screens
   Expose
   Negative Washout
   Blockout & Tape
•   Ink Mixing
o   Locate Proper Color in Rutland Color Library
o   Mix/Prep All Colors for Mixing
o   Mix Colors According to Scientific Color Formulas
•   Apparel Handling
o   Count & Inventory Apparel
o   Pull Numbers Needed For Print Jobs
On-Press:
•   Press/Job Set-Up
o   Pull All Screens Needed For Jobs
o   Load Screens On Press
o   Set in Tri-Loc Platen
o   Tri-Loc All Screens On Press
   Load All Sqeegees Into Press
   Load All Inks Into Screens
o   Run Initial Test Print
o   Move to Each Screen With Control Arm
   Use Micro Adjustments to Align Screens
   Re-Test To Assure Print Job is In Perfect alignment
   Check Flash Dyers For proper Height & Temperature
o   Load & Unload Apparel Onto Platens While Machine Prints
o   Unload Apparel Into Conveyor Oven & Quick Print Quality Check

Post-Press:
•   Unload Apparel From Conveyor Oven
o   Final Print Quality Check
   Spray Out Any Imperfections With Spot Remover
o   Lay Garments Out For Folding & Tagging
   Fold Garment
   Tag Garment With Price Tag
   Add Price & Size Stickers
   Box For Shipping (If Needed)
o   Make All Necessary Inventory Adjustments
Post-Press & Clean-Up
•   Breakdown Press
o   Unload All Sqeegees From Press
   Clean All Ink Residue From Sqeegees Using Plastiwash Solution
o   Unload All Screens From Press
o   Zero Out Micro-Adjustments
o   Unload All Inks From Screens & Replace Into Proper Containers
   Use Screen Opener & Clean Ink Residue From Printable Area
   Re-Catalogue Screens
o   Clean All Ink Tools (Clamps, Spatulas, Choppers, Etc.)
Also in charge of:
Inventory, Ordering, Supply Management, Quality Control, and Daily Shift Reports.
