Please be seated when reading this.....
« on: March 31, 2016, 10:38:09 AM »
The King of plastisol is going to start printing WB Discharge.  It has been quite a few years since I used these inks and am looking for suggestions on brand, dryer settings, and activator percentages.  Now for the part where you should be sitting.  I do not know much about WB and Discharge printing.  That's right I said it.  I have always prided myself on printing "no" hand plastisol.  But with the WB being CPSIA compliant and Tony always talking it up... well it is time for me to round out my education. Go ahead I can take it.

So you speak of the KING of plastisol, then you mention what you are going to do. What does one have to do with the other?

Boy that headline was some hype.

You will certainly have to be "Printficient" to handle the screen drying ink.
I'm sure you will do fine.

Seriously, let us know the findings.

Have fun!

Did you get some answers?

%6 for bright and light colors. Is a good place to start.

Union Ink has a good white, Rutland and CCI have a good mixing system.

The closer to 2.5-3 min. in the tunnel the better. Forced air gas dryer optimal. 360°-400°

As usual many variables to consider.....test,test,test.
