WOW Dan is right!

I really got fooled with that article I immediately thought they actually printed and made these shirts because of the bombings, it was not till deeper in the article that you find out it was an old sale item pertaining to Yankees and red Sox. At least Nike realized the insensitivity and pulled them off the shelves.

One can never foresee such an event. Goes to show how much fortune tellers and psychics are worth.

That's crazy, don't even have words for it, but yeah Nike did the right thing,  Dan kinda funny you say need a fortune teller, large tee-shirt retailers might need that LOL.

Nike did the right thing for the company image for sure though.  Just sad that people use the shirt out of context for their agenda or feelings.

Where I found it, it was simply posted with the title, link and picture of tee. So, many just read the title and picture. I'm sure if anyone who read the article, would have chosen to avoid bashing Nike, but you gotta admit, the title and seeing the art let your imagination run before reading further.

yeah, i saw that too, they made it sound like the shirt was a brand new thing.  Heck who even knows the last time they were printed, it references the 2006 AL playoffs.

Knowing Nike and how they drop anyone that has any super sketchy dealings or run ins with hurting their image, I would actually assume it's not in reference to the recent stuff.  But that's just me.  I fully see how others wouldn't consider that.

Wow, they did the right thing... a classy move actually, even though it's unrelated.
