The idea of designing a wreath-like design to go around the neck is pretty cool, but is limited to that type of shape. However, with the correct design elements, a continuous design (much like done on yardage), could probably be mated with this technique. One needs a design that allows for easy, relatively seamless tiling.
The reoccurring problem I have found in my business is when "designers" come to you with their design and mock-up. They are often not prepared to return to square one and re-design from the ground up to make it screen-print friendly, unlike shops with in house designers and artists engineering these prints from the get-go.
