Do you wear a neck tie when you print

I was reading the service manual that came with my press last night the (safety section) and I was reading this part that was advising  not to operate the press with loose clothing, long hair, or a neck tie. Just curious does anyone wear a tie when printing. LOL

I don't own a neck tie haha. I don't think I have a shirt with a collar either. tees and hoodies allll the time.

If my buddy Danny was here, he'd tell you about the time, as a salesman, he come into my shop. He knew it was a "No Tie Zone", but wore it in anyway. He left with half of it.I kept the part I cut off. 

I don't do ties except for maybe weddings and funerals.

I once necked with a Thai in the breakroom of a sign shop, but since I wasn't printing at the time, I guess it doesn't count.

No Neck Tie for me, but I read this part of my manual as well and laughed.

THEN

A couple days later I'm wearing a certain hoodie.  When I'm standing in front of the head to lock in squeegies or whatever the case may be, the hoodie pockets are the exact height and distance apart as the two registration knobs in the front.  I had no idea until i tried to walk away, only to be caught up in the press.  I have to put packing tape over the pockets when i wear that one, otherwise i get stuck continually lol

Watching old B roll film or documentary footage, seems like EVERYBODY wore a tie (and hat) at work. Assembly line worker, factory worker, butcher, newspaper boy, etc....
Seems like ties weren't just for "white collar" jobs back in the day.

My old Rototex ripped a hoodie pocket right off me. I was in the un/loading position and turned
for something as the press indexed. Riippppp!!!! Them Geneva indexers get going...

My daughter works in San Francisco and she says the new fashion trend there is to shop in your pajamas, amongst women anyway.
I guess when it comes to Florida and the women start shopping in their negligees I'll be hookin' it on down to the mall . . .
