Early morning delivery...
« on: November 10, 2015, 12:14:49 PM »
Had a truck here this morning dropping off something I've been waiting for! Truck was here before half the crew was!

I want to give a HUGE THANKS To Manny at The OTS!! www.theots.com Manny disassembled this press and crated it like a BOSS!! Friggin' Styrofoam spacing, SOLID 2*4 pallets, attention to detail like a mf'er! Can't say enough about what a great job Manny did! If anyone needs a press moved in CA, the comfort you have knowing that it is going to be safe with good packing/crating like Manny did is relaxing!  Check it out-
Alex

Hopefully I'll never have to grow up and get a real job...

Now before every one starts nagging about WHY there was not a tech included in the shipping crates to install the second we had it un packed, there is one coming Monday. Considering I won't be at work Thursday and Friday this week and the press wasn't supposed to arrive till tomorrow, I thought that was acceptable... :P

Thanks guys! The post was more supposed to be about how impressed I was with the crating Manny did. WAY over delivered on what I expected. Probably a good thing because I'm the type that rolls the dice and usually doesn't get additional insurance!  :o

@DKgrafix - your comment actually made me stop and think why the fu- did he say that!? Then I remembered I need to learn how to take crap seeing as I do my fair share of giving it out!

@GraphicDisorder - That's the kind of comment I would make to poke at someone, so totally understand it!  I would actually be able to post pics of the "blue" item I got if I could get the techs to email me back! True story!

Yes, we've won our share of awards, and yes, I've tested stuff and read the scientific papers, but ultimately take everything I say with more than just a grain of salt! So if you are looking for trouble, just do as I say or even better, do something I said years ago!

Agreed. Our TL delivered equipment has been just fine.

LTL, no matter how barricaded the gear is they somehow destroy it.
