Embroidery Machine Pricing?
« on: August 09, 2016, 09:44:41 PM »
Is the attached machine in working condition worth $3k assuming it is fully functional?  Worth having a tech look at it first and if so how much does that usually run?

Do you mean 3 thousand or 30 thousand? 3 thousand-Heck yea, If it's working. Calling in a tech would probably be around $600-$1000. depending on who you call and how much time they spend.  If it's in the Austin area and you decide not to get it let me know who has it.

Not a mistake, just a great deal it sounds like!  Any tips on moving this thing?  Looks like it has casters, so ramp and trailer and tie-downs sound good?

you can roll them into a trailer pretty easily.  The casters are fine for smooth concrete like warehouses, but not really for parking lots or driveways.  you are better off with a pallet jack on each end.

I would look into a rigging company.  ours was $800 to bring a 6-head machine into the building...no loading dock on our end either.

There's a certified Barudan tech in Louisiana outside of Lafayette. I'll PM you his info. He is in Texas once a week.

If you want, and its in fully working order I will give you 5k for it. So you can make 2k for basically doing nothing.

Haha, tempting.  We'll see how it goes... been wanting to be able to do embroidery hat jobs in house for a while and this seems like the best opportunity to do that.

That low of a price would make me a bit weery so definitely get a tech if your not to familiar with smb machines yourself. Did they happen to mention why a late generation 4 head barman is selling so cheap? Damn we bought 2 new 8 heads from barman this year I would have loved to seen a deal like this earlier.

Has to have something wrong with it or its a scam. Even the old boat anchor 4 and six heads still get that when they come up if they are still working.
