Merry Christmas, Johnny.
If Barbie is so popular, why do you have to buy her friends?

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house not a drop of ink was stirring not even an ounce.

The screens were all hung by the chimeny with care in hopes that they would rapidly dry in the warm crackling air

The children were nestled all snug in their beds,

While visions of process shirts dancing in their heads;

And mamma in her 'kerchief, and I in my cap,

Had just settled down to talk about some marketing crap,

When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,

I sprang from our meeting  to see what was the matter.

Away to the window I flew like a flash,

Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.

The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow

Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below,

When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,

But a miniature sleigh, hey  my new auto press was here,

With a little old  driver, so lively and quick,

I knew in a moment I would make a pile of shirts printed real quick

More rapid than bills those  colors they came,

And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name;
"Now, C,  now, M now, Y and now K what used to take a week would now take a day

On, register on color, on target & on price
running this auto sure is nice

To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall we had the shirts stacked all folded and all!

Now wash away! dash away! Reclaim  away all!
Those screens need to be cleaned and stored in their stall

As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly,
we were ready for the next job those little elfs  and I

When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky,
we will just raise our prices and not bat an eye

So up to the house-top the coursers they flew,
to deliver those fine shirts to business and school

With the sleigh full of shirts , and St. Nicholas too our new salesman was looking real cool.

As I drew in my head, and was turning around, he said don’t forget my commission and went off with a bound

And he looked like a peddler with those shirts in a sack,
until they were all sold he would not be back

His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
as he pondered his commission and how his bank account would grow

A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,
Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread;

He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
he knew he would find a buyer some big money jerk

And I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight,
print up more shirts ... I’ll be back tomorrow night

Merry Shirtmas to all ::)
