Stuck in Teach Mode on Gauntlet lll.
« on: September 27, 2019, 08:06:59 PM »
I’m working late and on the Gauntlet lll.

We have an alarm on head 18 that says it’s in teach mode.  Anyone know how to get out of that? I haven’t found it yet. Id look in the manual, but it’s at another location at the moment.

Thoughts?

Got the answer.

Ok.  We found out what it is. It happens by accident or goes into this mode  (if), you happen to have a pallet collision with something (like we did last night). We were Tri-Locking and indexed to the next pallet but the Tri-Loc and pallet didn’t drop all the way.  Not sure why it didn’t drop fully. Like the Tri-Loc stuck a bit. It had a lip of about 1/16” (I happened to be right there watching the Tri loc process and once he rotated the pallet to do the next one, I still stayed in place (raised up a bit) and it snapped away from the frame and knocked the end contact point off of our Tri-Loc.

So keep a good eye on it when Tri-Locking and indexing. Make sure it’s clear first and the pallet fully drops.

On a Gauntlet III, the pallet better never drop or you’re going to have a really bad day:)

Verbiage error.   Raise.  Frames raise.
