One of the last things we did at JNJ before I moved on was to train three new sales hires. Two I believe had sales exp and one just out of college. None had any industry experience. Per our (production facility) request, corporate agreed to have them come into the factory for two weeks where they were orintated, trained and virtually performed ALL tasks. Started with Dan in art and seps of course and all the way through to finishing and shipping. They mixed inks, made and reclaimed screens (all steps), set up/teardown/load/unload presses, worked the dryers, cleaned squeegees, fold/tag/bag, you get the idea. Even had to pass a written test before they were to be hired. So, a bit better than videos but I agree on the whole as an industry training is not our strength.  :(
