Stampinator questions (ROQ machines)
« on: March 29, 2023, 05:05:53 PM »
One showed up last week, forgot that it was part of a larger equip purch owners made in Anehiem. Our ROQs are rigid alu/no rubber BTW.
1. Can/should be used as a flash replacement or, after flash to replace a roller screen? {plastisol)
2. Has anyone successfully used this for inline transfer applications (remember, no rubber on platens!)? IE no screens, just stamping.
3. Doing the research, but the thought was that it would interface with the auto but, as it was ordered and delivered, no plug in for that. So back to time and temp on the STMP sets being independent of the auto. That is an eyebrow raiser so far.
Thanks in advance for any replies.

hi Tony, we have LOTS of experience using inline heat presses on Roqs.

It can be used as a flash replacement, but works better if you do a quick flash, then heat press.

You will need silicone pads to transfers correctly. The aluminum pallet doesn't allow for the correct pressure for transfers.

It does interface with the roq auto. You need to call and get a program installed.
