try rotating your shoes.  Keep 3 pairs and alternate what days you wear them.  It helps.

I'm not on my feet all day, as I don't run a press or do screen making for years now, but I do have to get up and down and walk a fair amount. A few years ago my wife bought me a pair of Skechers, and I love them, i have about 5 pair now...

I do like Skechers. My problem is I get one pair and wear the snot out of them. Maybe I'll try getting a few pair and rotating them. I might spring for a pair of those Hoka's too. I have no problem spending for comfort at this stage of the game.

New Balance Fresh Foam. Get a new pair every 3 months. 6 months max. I destroyed my feet wearing the same shoes for years at a time lol. I also use those somewhat custom inserts from the machine you stand on in CVS and it tells you what firmness to get. Seems to help the plantar fasciitis a bit. I also started doing calf raises daily and it's helped reduce foot pain a good amount.

When I don't get lazy and just slip on some deck shoes, I wear my doctor suggested Brooks Addiction with Powerstep Pinnacle Maxx orthotic insoles. The combination actually cured a pain I had developed.
Also, when I do (did) actually stand still at the press, I have a rubber anti-fatigue mat.

I've never been able to keep them on my feet; 2, maybe 3 steps and the fly right off!

Got a pair of the Cliftons yesterday. Tried on the Bondi but the arch was a bit much for me. These are super comfy.
May get another pair to wear out of the shop, I'll see how they feel at the end of the week.

I'd go barefoot if I could. Since I can't, I rotate my running shoes into my work shoes. I pay for good shoes, Brooks Ghost. Good enough to run 15, 20, 25 miles in, good enough to walk around 5 miles a day in the shop

I had a lot of problems with my feet until Greg Jenson from Saati recommended Keane Targhee.
Great shoes if you stand or walk around your plant a lot.
