smoothing orange peel print
« on: October 09, 2023, 04:44:26 PM »
I have some prints that look a little orange peeled. It is poly ink on camo hoodies. It looked fine inside when printing last week. I took them outside to get a picture and in the sun the prints are a little textured... Is there a good way to smooth the print after the fact?
Thanks,
Matt

heatpress with teflon sheet give a shiny finish or brown paper gives flat finish for us.

Do you have a suggestion on temp/time/pressure. I have a 1620 hotronix.
Thanks for the quick reply!

300, 5 seconds, medium pressure should do the trick, however, that camo stuff has a bad repution for bleeding.
So, I'd see no harm in starting testing at a lower temp
