Could the mesh have either relaxed or stretched since it was shot?

DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES COMPLETELY WITHIN MY CONTROL YOU SHOULD GET YOUR OWN TEE SHIRT AND A SHARPIE MARKER BY NOON TOMORROW OR SIMPLY CALL SOMEONE WHO GIVES A SHIRT.

Same here but found the issue in my films , my epson 1800 is slightly shrinking the image between prints by a hair. Talk about annoying...

But I thought that with your issue Shawn, we determined that it was different film types that fed slightly differently. Or was that someone else.

Another potential issue I warned of was changing film orientation.  Never mix!

Yep, if you send one film out portrait and the other out landscape.  The marks will not line up.  I found that out the hard way.
It's not a job if you love doing it.

Thermal printers are bad for distorting the registrations vertically. Most designs are taller so when you have a very tall design and multiple colors, you will see more distortion. Especially between the 1st and the last. Since they are thermal. You get a lot more elongation or stretch. The film relaxes more as it heats up.

Same applys for other printers but not as much as thermals due to the excessive heat needed.

I feed my films the same way and I've been using the same film for 2 years without issues.

Frog, I learned that a few years ago. Separated my colors in a portrait format and decided to rotate the images 90 degrees and print as a landscape. Man, that registration was ridiculously off!

I experienced it with one replacement plate that was just a little off.
That's even more frustrating. On that lesson, I gave myself a green star for being a quick learner.
That's not always the case for us old dogs.
