printing aprons (how do you do it)

ok I have a 500 order of aprons. Never printed this many on an auto.  Do I print them upside down like a bag or normal. Should I set up lasers for placement? how do you deal with the straps and over hanging material? How do you guys do it.

sometimes we put the image on each platen so we know where it's going to hit . We print the screen on fresh platen tape, then put the glue on. It helps with things with close edges, like the top part of an apron.  . .put the apron on neck first, if the design is high up on the chest. goes pretty quick, faster than t-shirts if you set up right.

we do them upside down like a bag and move the boards out so we align the top to the bottom of the pallet for easy placement.  works like a charm..plus we use the lazer for center...

On our manual...
we have a sheet of paneling / white board we got at lowes / home depot 4 x8 standard size.
 it is 1/8 thick with typical white board on one side press board finish on the back. we stack cut 6 of them to match the pattern of the typical apron.
coat both sides with a good coating of water based adhesive Tekbond stuff and simply stick them onto our standard pallets and then simply fit the aprons onto the patterned pallets.
This makes the loading quick and easy and drops all the apron seams etc below screen contact.
After the job pull up the templates and save for the next job.

did it once like you did moose man with the panels instead of water base glue i used
the pallet tape with the glue already on it worked great on aprons knock out 1000 of them nice and easy
