Just wanted to make a note of this for anyone looking at bringing in a second auto or
even just buying an auto that uses the same pallets as your manual.
When I was in the process of purchasing our second press I was totally stoked on being
able to use the same pallets on both. Awesome, one set of each size pallets.
Nope. Not a day goes by that I'm using the youth on one press and need it on the other.
Or using the adult on one and need it on the other. Ugh. Sleeves are fine, but in all honesty
you really need a set of everything else for each press. If I got a bit more detailed
in scheduling (as in down to the minute with no hiccups) I might avoid it a bit more
but in reality a lot of our jobs actually require a pallet change. Let alone splitting a large
order between the presses.
Just putting it out there for the next guy.
