I have found great rubber tape in local Marc's store. I do not know if you have something like that in your area. I paid $.99 for 2 rolls :)
No residue when removing the tape. I bought 60 rolls which will last me at least 2 years

An old standby

We've been using this forever, great tape, peels easy after a long run
I made a mistake once; I thought I was wrong about something; I wasn't

we don't have them here at least I have never seen one. I usually buy from Atlantic Tape but they have went to $2.70 a roll (normal size). I figured I could beat that price. I usually use the tan Intertape brand but can change with no problem :)

j& j in spokane?  just burned through a case and I think it's just dandy.  great for wb.too and they are very close to us. I think it's inter tape and maybe it's a little cheaper somewhere out there but we try to keep the dollars in the region.

pmi is the jam as well, used it for years, but a little spendy

The tape J&J sells is exactly what I get from a local supplier.  I bought 3 cases from J&J a few years ago then had my local tape supplier match it because it worked so well.  J&J has the best price on that type of tape that I've been able to find, and they'll come down on their price if you play hardball with them.  They are nice people I think, a little aggressive with the phone calls but they aren't real pushy when they call to check on you.  I think they sell a ton of that tape that's why they can get so low in price.  I think it was around 4.15/roll a few years ago and last time I talked to them they said they couldn't really match that price any longer since things have gone up but they would get close if I bought a couple cases.

If you have one in your area, Ace hardware.  There brand 3" roll 2.99 and it works great.  Been using it for 14 years.

Jason, is it labeled as natural rubber adhesive?

I use the clear box tape from a company called TapeZit.  Ed is a great guy to work with and his prices beat Uline.  I also have a 3" table top tape dispenser, makes taping easy.

If you have a Menards near you(mainly Midwest but expanding rapidly) we get this:

http://menards.com/main/home-decor/office-school-supplies/tape-glue-velcro/tape/masking-tape/intertape-general-purpose-masking-6-pack/p-1363127-c-7183.htm

Comes in a sleeve of 6, it is something like $9.00, BUT they always have 11% off sales or you can use a Home Depot/Lowes 10% off coupon. I usually by them 48 at a time then...
It does not work well for water based printing, I stick with Uline there like everyone else.

But the Ace tape peels cleanly with minimal residue?
I have to assume so or you wouldn't still be using it lol!
