Cups for mixing ink.
« on: November 12, 2012, 06:41:57 PM »
I found these cups when walking though a pet store. They sell bog bones in them. I know alot of you guys got the Deli containers from the last post. I looked at a few of those and didn't like the lid and the bottom was not flat enough for my taste. I wanted to run  these by you guys before I buy them. 500 cups and lids is alot if they will not work for some reason I am missing. I will be usign them for Plastisol and Waterbase inks

At that price/size I'd assume they are the really thin material ones.
We hate those ones.

If not, great deal.

They are the same brand and look of the ones I saw. They are made from polypropylene so I know they will hold up to chemicals. (that is what most washout booths are made from) I am a little afraid they maybe thinner then the one I saw...

UVPS has some nice containers. These are the ones we used to use but a bit on the high end for the price.

have been using them for years , sure beat paper coffee cups, the thinner ones are a bit of pain but not really a problem, I usually get the qrt, and 1/2 qrt size.
In my area I buy them from the local restaurant supplier.

brandon,

usplastics has the cups I have been using. http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/item.aspx?itemid=45223&catid=574

I get them from a local supplier and maybe pay a little more. I like them. I think I will order the thinner ones for waterbase. I just feel bad throwing away the thicker ones. Plus for the price the thinner ones you get about 4 times as many.

Get stainless cups from a restaurant supply for waterbased. I started a thread on it a long while back
and forgot to update. But yeah, no problems.
