Looks GREAT, neighbor!! I didn't count the number of plates. Was it 7?

(We'll be in your great state Thursday. We always go to Pond Creek this time of year, about a half hour north of Enid. Happy Thanksgiving!!)

Great looking print!

I have to ask, is that a normal print speed for you? or was it slowed down for the video?

Not entirely normal. I was double printing t the white base and I slowed the gold down quite a bit. A lot of the gold had no base and it was a little tricky getting a good lay down of  shimner gold ink. Slower steady pressure seemed to deliver the optimum results in this case. I probably could have printed a little faster bu hey if it looks good don't push it.

If I rember right, Dan and I had a little pissing match about the mesh for the shimmer. He was pretty sure a 156 would work good for the shimmer. I tried it but ultimately went with a 110.

Very nice print, faster is not always better.  You proved it!
It's not a job if you love doing it.

Nice print Donnie, hey heres something that might help you next time you print a shimmer gold or silver, use a double beveled squeegee, I was able to get a nice two stroke print on black tees thru a 137 and 156 mesh.... I goofed and burn the wrong screen mesh, so I said wht the hell I'll try it.

Thanks for putting that up. I have a blog I am getting going. Can I link to that on my blog?  https://dottonedesigns.wordpress.com/
I just added a bunch of sep photos on the blog and am new to setting things up properly in the correct space. I've got to move things around more to be better organized but it's a start. Specifically, I need to move the separation photos to the separation location. As it is, they are somehow connected to my printing page. I will not be posting those (as if I printed them) but they show there now. So, if you see something I've separated for you that is in my PRINT location, it will be moved as soon as I can get time to figure it out more.

You know, while you ran with the 110, it turned out really great. Thats one of the better designs (and print) that I'm proud of. getting all of those different shades/tones was no accident. Good printing and good art/seps.

Thats the point I try to make when using my own seps service. I don't only focus on providing good seps, but I also focus on enabling you to get the best look for the least cost/colors. You don't get that special attention from many other services.  That is another great example of cost saving separations at a quality level. ;)  Little piggy back plug for myself if you don't mind. ;)  I think I'll blog about that. Can I use this print and the bear print as a photo example?

Hi Rick,

I forget specifically. I think it was $200.00 or in that area.
