Thanks, Murph - love that heart print you did - looks great.

Is foil difficult?  I resist change every chance i get, but am looking into new ink systems currently for some special clientele.

Its not really difficult. As much as it is time consuming ( one more step & all ).

Not that its without a few quirks, but easy enough to get over, & some have found good ways to get over the time thing too.

Picture of bad print removed - Inkworks

Just kidding, every once in a while someone brings in a shirt that was printed elsewhere and you're reminded about just how bad of product some other shops are putting out, this shirt is a pretty good example of bad, I'm pretty sure this print didn't see a screen mesh higher than 109, I thought it was a bad transfer at first, bad art, bad seps, bad registration and bad printing and glossy-thick in some spots. I might go discharge if we get the job, which we should because it was bad pricing too...  ;D

I can see why the black looks glossy is because they printed the black on top of that base white... Ink never post a full pic of someone else's print they might be on this board and take offense to that, and no I didn't print that ;D, and know you mean no harm but just not cool.

low mesh, p/f/p white, the colors and black over that, low lpi,....yea, could use some work.  I've seen way worse though, and probably printed way worse as well when I was just starting.

You're right, but if I put myself in their shoes, I may be peeved, but I'd have also gained the knowledge that my customer is shopping the job around and not happy with the quality they are getting. I've seen worse too, but not in many years, I was trained by owners who demanded quality, so I'm quite surprised to see bad stuff still coming off presses. It isn't any harder to print quality, in fact in many regards it's easier and faster. We're not perfect here either, and I try to look at criticism objectively and constructively, but perhaps my post doesn't reflect the respect of other shops it should.

I don't print very often anymore, but odds are I'm printing a pallet if i do!  It happens so fast....need to set a delay before it prints, but never do.

Terrible cell phone picture. This is GID. We've printed thousands of these but only recently got our hands on Allure
glow and used the aqua color for this run. I'll try and get a pic of the glow, but take my word that
stuff is incredible.

5 colors, seps by Mr. Detavernier. Supposed to look like 80's litho heat press, and artist/seps nailed it.

We have "The Hoodie Of Shame" for those who screw something up. It's particularly effective in the summer.

That is a horrible pic but the allureglow white glowing to aqua probably looks super rad.  We ran both their plasti and discharge.  The plasti is great, the discharge is going to be avoided until we get to the bottom of some things I saw on the last run with allureglow but I'm pretty confident we can get it working.
