Willy, that is a pretty slick print.
It's not a job if you love doing it.

6 colors on a manual.  This is the first one that I have done the art, seps and print myself.  Also first shot at a discharge underbase.  Can't believe how light the print is!

This was the first try with CTS and Tri-Loc

Was on a yellow shirt and looked even better on there.  The "moire" at the bottom is pleats in the shirt

10 color - 280 base, 305 top colors, 355 black and top white

This one was a tough one since the source file was not the greatest.  Was photographed on white, had inverse shadows, so I spent some time cutting out, and fixing the shadow which you can see more in person (iPhone)  Printed on Aqua Black, and looked pretty good, considering the source file was pretty pixelated.

This was buttoned up a little more, just wasn't around to snap a photo of the final product.

9 color - 280 base, 305 top colors, 355 black and top white

A 5 colors simulated process

Looks good. These types of dark pastel muted jobs can be tricky.
Is that a Base white, Yellow, Ice Blue, Red, Top white ?

Art, Print and color on this is pretty awesome. Color scheme seems aggressive. That's a good thing.

Dan, Here's the one I sepped myself over the weekend.  I've definitely learned a lot from studying the few seps you have done for me.  Understanding how to overlay colors to get the tones I am looking for.  I'm still not sure how to actually produce it in PS.  This one I sepped everything except the car first.  I was very comfortable with that part.  Then I brought in the car and did it separately.  Technique is probably crap, but it seemed to work!

Blue, Grey, Red, Orange, Yellow, Black all on 225-S, 55 lpi.

These look great Racer!  Can you say a bit more about your setup?  Are you using a rip (and which one)? What printer/ink/film?  What ink brand/system?  Emulsion and exposure setup?

I also a manual printer and these look fantastic.  Would love to be able to compare my setup and see how I might improve...

my guys did this one while I was on vacation! I did help with the seps, but they did a pretty good job. Two colors, black and CG6.
Her face was blown out a little so we had to clean it up, so probably little more excitement than called for, but it was nice to see them doing good with me away. . .

Yes, we've won our share of awards, and yes, I've tested stuff and read the scientific papers, but ultimately take everything I say with more than just a grain of salt! So if you are looking for trouble, just do as I say or even better, do something I said years ago!

Accurip/Epson 1430/13x19 WP Film
Using refillable carts and ink I found recommended by Alan in an old thread.
HVP on this job, first bucket of it I've ever had.
Brown Single Point (1000w halogen)... I hate this thing.  9 minute exposures are killing me here.

All Union Ultrasofts for the most part.  I also use Texsource GEN series mixed in there as well.

My press is a big ole turd too.  Brown Master Printer 6/6.  Platen to platen is really inconsistent.  Just goes to show what can be done if you search a lot on this forum and learn from the best.  Its far from perfect, but they are coming around.  Way better than my first prints 8 months ago.
