SERJ - your stuff is absolutely amazing...

stupid question... are these handouts for Magna?  Just curious as most of them say 'printed using Magnacolors' at the bottom?

And he makes it sound so easy too. "four colors, waterbased" piece of cake:)
He could make a buck or two teaching some lessons.

SERJ -- I gotta check out the Magna booth next time I'm at a show.. hopefully they have some of your stuff, as there's VERY few printers in the world that can print like that.

You and Dimitri I think are the pretty much the only 2 that I've heard of.

Figured I would post a quick cell video(sorry for crap quality) of what we've been doing more and more of...... On press foiling with our roq oval. This machine makes doing foil sooooo easy to do..... 300-450 pcs per hour for 1 operator on the machine. I have a line that we sell to costco that orders 6,000 shirts all with foil at a time and this setup is saving my ass....... Before I had to bring in 3 extra labors just to get the job done where now we have this neat little machine doing it for us  ;D ..... I'll try to post some good printing/artwork here in the next few weeks as I have been out of this thread for a while

Pretty slick and much faster than earlier versions. Downside. Foil will tarnish a titch in  the dryer. Most end users may not care hover. Takes some of the bling out of it and sometimes that's a good thing

Yeah I have done a side by side comparison and we aren't seeing any change but I have only tested 1 brand of foil so far..... I'm sure others will tarnish like you've seen before but this particular brand(came with the foil machine) is not tarnishing one bit...... This method for us is proving to be way faster then doing them on a heat press or hiring a few extra hands to handle the added work

That in-line foiling setup is dope.  I wasn't aware that those actually worked!

Oh hell yeah this thing is working! We've done 4 foil jobs today on one machine with 1 guy running the press.

1st order - 300 pcs
2nd order - 325 pcs
3rd order - 144 pcs
4th order - 144 pcs

each job was 4-6 colors plus foil and 1 guy got all that done so far today....... No extra people needed heat pressing, no wasting inks with foil resist, etc..... We have a 6k pcs foil job coming up in a couple weeks I will try to do a good video of that one
