Used to do a fleece program like this for WH Smith Airport locations. Except it was 400 micron density. Problem was the fleece held too much heat and the viscosity of my ink would break down, which would in turn affect the ink transfer. Crazy times.

These wrapped up yesterday's schedule.  I'm on store duty today and too brain dead to do anything but maybe take cell phone pictures and post them here.  The coffee/whisky isn't really doing it's job today.

Horse came from a lovely 72dpi web clip, did the entire piece right down to film output in about 35 minutes.  Was going for a vintage feel.  Had to keep the colors way down.  The QCM Neon Pink was shockingly opaque through a 310 mesh and damn I forgot how weird that ink is to print with, it runs like gravy yet is somehow difficult to push.

This isn't an example of our very finest art and print work but just the kind I like to see happening everyday.

310/30 WFX Epic Quick White w. about 10% Fashion Soft Base and 2% Viscosity Buster Added
Flash
310/30 QCM Opaque Neon Pink (ATP)
Flash
330/30 WFX Mix of Matte Black, Extender Base, Quick White

On AmerApparel BB401 in Heather Neon Blue.  60lpi 22.5 round dots on all screens.

Yes, we've won our share of awards, and yes, I've tested stuff and read the scientific papers, but ultimately take everything I say with more than just a grain of salt! So if you are looking for trouble, just do as I say or even better, do something I said years ago!

Nice Pierre! Screens/inks?

55lp at 22.5

various combination of squeegees, from triple 55 to single 80.

I can't remember what screens we used, I'll have to ask and Shirley stepped out for a sec (she has the print sheet).
from what I remember:
230 underbase EZ Print White Union Ink
flash
305 Crush white (also EZ Print)
180LX metallic gold
305 orange (Unimatch Union ink mix)
305 gray (Unimatch Union ink mix)
305 red (Unimatch Union ink mix)
305 blue (Unimatch Union ink mix)

LX on static, rest on Shurloc EZ Frames

the 180 LX mesh worked surprisingly well for the amount of detail it had and being able to let the metallic flake through. I think the next time I would go with the 150 and would get  a little more glitter through. I wanted to use the liquid gold, but did not have any. . .

this was hybrid print with the body done with a stochastic dot and the background with regular halftone.

the pix show the difference pretty clearly. The dot used for the stocahstic part was 4.5/1000th of an inch. Halftone dot was at 65lpi. The smallest dot held there was 3% which measure 5/1000th of an inch.
