Cool Tony, I would love to have one of these shirts! One of my favorite bands back in the day.

The first image is their idea on white. The second image is on the finished black shirt. Artwork by me. Slight distressed texture in art. Lower logo blurred for safety.
Art is 13.5" tall

650 black gildans
Quick white UB @ 156
Union Scarlet Red Ultrasoft @ 230
IC Light Blue @ 230
Wilflex Liquid Gold @ 83, 2 strokes

Underbased foreground ribbon only for depth.
Front left chest was Liquid Gold @ 83, 2 strokes. Frames were fresh 23x31 aluminum statics.

Nice and easy 2 color discharge on the back print here, 3 up front.  Sericol Yellow GS right out of the bucket and a mix like 306c for the blue. 55lpi on 225/40.  Yellow needed a double stroke.

Nice prints Chris! Glad the Sericol is working for you. Just curious, CCI base or no?

Sericol is RFU, no base.

Never liked their white though.

Any issues with pigments/dried globs?

I'm working on a pneumatic filter system for problem colors.

Crap, your right. Sorry, thinking Matsui. Not a fan of Sericol's yellow or Matsui's white. That's just me though

I lied.  We currently use Sericol for colors.  CCI for White and Base.

The only Yellow I've had issue with is Yellow GS going on black, like in this case.  I don't think it's the ink's fault, just the nature of yellow green shade that when you do down on black you get an extra greening effect that makes it look a little 'dirty'.

Brandon, whose Yellow you like?

Hey Chris, we have our own formulas. But it involves Matsui Yellow PC and CCI Discharge White and Base. And a whole bunch of Voodoo...

Ha!  That's what really sold me on Sericol for color, no voodoo needed, it's all RFU or a mix of RFU inks, we don't need to make any special formulas for colors, the "starting point" formulas they have for Pantone Solid Coated are very close to the mark.  That said I've suggested to Sericol that they offer a set of booster pigments though.  If they don't go that way I'm going to try CCI's pigs for this.  Since we switched to a PC system for plastisol I really see the advantage there.

Hey Chris,
I thought you would laugh at that! Ha. The Voodoo in question was from learning/creating our system a few years ago. But glad we did as we have no real problems and can hit almost every pantone every time. And all the products are cheap!

Here's a few that we have printed recently.... Most all the pics are before final adjustments as they were for strike off purposes only to get placements approved. If anyone wants specs I'll be happy to post those.... The burrito one was sepped by DTD using some spots plus process, the next one is std plastisol, the 3rd crossfit shirt is waterbase, and the barrelman print is discharge base with plastisol on top.
