Yea the photo of the black butcher is really washed out looking. The actual print is much brighter. I did those prints about a year ago but ran across the photos. Dan you seped the butcher designs. Those were my first 4c process designs using the Sericol waterbase process inks. In production I ended up running a discharge underbase with no white..fast flash then all discharge 4 color process inks and a highlight white. That photo of the match book was the samples. The art and print were much improved on the production run. Fluid seped that one.

Nice. How did the Sericol Process colors do for you?  Super interesting regarding the dc underbase...I would have presumed that would wash out the process colors on top.

What a potentially awesome way to run full color art on a 6 head press.

It worked really good. originally i had a 80/20 white /base mix in and i couldnt keep the process screens clean because of the white. the base was a 230

That makes sense, I've noticed that dc colors will seriously wash out printed over white dc.  I'm assuming the pro colors were unactivated then, going over the base?  Ever activated them and just dropped them onto black cotton?

YES THEY WERE ACTIVATED.. I THINK THEY WOULD HAVE WORKED GREAT WITHOUT A BASE.

Here is one we did today from a photo of this customers artwork. He painted this picture of a honey bear eating a Lego man. It is an 8 color Index using a discharge clear base. 230 base and everything else was on 305's. Halftone base at 55 lpi. Index was at 180 dpi.
