Just to heap onto Adobe, if you don't have Photoshop 5.0 or 5.5 by December 31, 2011, you will have to pay full price to go to CS6. I just had to upgrade two copies this week to get in. Just in case you guys who use it heavily aren't aware of this particular scheme...

Steve

I still love Photoshop and Illustrator though, but damn!!!!!!!
I made a mistake once; I thought I was wrong about something; I wasn't

i bought photoshop & illy cs2 back when it came out 2005 or 06, i`m not sure anyways
they say they would support three versions back.
at the time i was running windows xp
when win7 came out i upgraded my computer to the new OP
only to find out that adobe was only supporting  cs4 and cs3
that piss me off
that one of the reasons i`m stil running vista, i don`t wanna spend hundreds of dollars for the new version
instead bought corel and it has been a great investment,
just my own experience on adobe
